Bill Witherspoon’s love of nature probably started when he was a boy in Gadsden, Alabama. The family home was only two blocks from his favorite playground, Noccalula Falls Park. Add to that many expeditions with the family into the outdoors, and you can understand his love of hiking and photographing nature in the mountains of north Georgia and surrounding states.
Almost every weekend, you can find Bill leading hikes for his outdoor club, the Georgia Adventurers Group on www.meetup.com. Waterfalls are the favorite subject of his camera, but he also enjoys taking pictures of wildlife and landscapes.
